The petitioner - accused No.2 is before this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in Crime No.8/2033 of Kolar CEN Crime Police Station, Kolar, pending on the file of Prl. Civil Judge (Sr. Dn.) and CJM Court, Kolar, Kolar District registered for the offences punishable under Sections 409, 419, 420, 465, 468 and 471 of IPC and Sections 66(C), 66(D) and 72 of Information Technology Act, 2008, on the basis of the first information lodged by the informant-
Awdhesh Kumar.
2. Heard Sri.Venkat Reddy C.M., learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri.H.S.Shankar, learned High Court Government Pleader for the respondent-State. Perused the material on record.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is arrayed as accused No.2. He is innocent and law abiding citizen. He has not committed any offence as alleged. He has been falsely implicated in the matter without any basis. There is reasonable apprehension of he being arrested. Hence, he is before this Court. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is working as Gramin Dak Sevak i.e., Mail carrier. He had no occasion to manipulate either the ID number or mobile number of the deposit holders.
