ORDER
The captioned matter comes before this Court with the petitioner, K. Somashekar, contesting the dismissal order issued against him in the light of a determination that his Nayak caste certificate, on which his appointment as a Craft Teacher in 1997 was based, was allegedly fake.
2. The petitioner commenced employment as a Craft Teacher at Nethaji High School in a vacant Aided post reserved for Scheduled Tribes within the Respondent No.1-Management. Petitioner contends that after 21 years of continuous and unblemished service, the Respondent No.1 administration, acting upon a report from the Tahsildhar of KR Pete Taluk, Mandya District, alleging the petitioner's falsification of community status, suspended the petitioner in contravention of Rule 16 of KEI (Rect.and T&C etc) Rules 1999. Subsequently, the District Caste Verification Committee (DCVC) of Mandya District deemed the petitioner to belong to the "PARIVARA" community instead of "NAYAKA" (ST) as claimed, leading to the dismissal of the petitioner without due procedure on 21.08.2019. Despite an appeal to the Director, Department of Scheduled Tribe Welfare and Appellate Authority, Bangalore, which stayed the DCVC's order,
