2. Since these two appeals have arisen out of common judgment and order, they are clubbed together and decided by a common order.
4. Accused No.1 is the husband, accused No.2 is the mother-in-law and accused No.3 is the sister-in-law of deceased Bhagyamma. A charge sheet came to be filed against accused Nos.1 to 3, alleging that accused No.1 married Bhagyamma and after the marriage, they were residing together along with accused Nos.2 and 3 at Kalenahalli of Madhugiri Taluk, Tumkuru District.
