ORAL ORDER

In this petition, petitioners seek the following reliefs:

“a) To quash the FIR in Crime No.276/2024 registered by the 1^st respondent / Sakaleshpura Town Police Station for the offence punishable under Sections 352, 351 (3), 3(5) BNS 2023 and under Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2) (va) of the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015, pending before the Addl. District and Sessions, Judge, Hassan District, Hasssan.

b) Grant any such orders / direction / reliefs as this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.”

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned HCGP for respondent No.1 and learned counsel for respondent No.2 and perused the material on record.

3. On 15.01.2025, this Court passed the following interim order:

“Heard.

Learned HCGP accepts notice for respondent No.1.

Copies to be served.

Issue emergent notice to respondent No.2.
