ORAL ORDER
Accused No.2 in Cr.No.5/2025 registered by Dobbespet Police Station, Bengaluru for offences punishable under 103 (1) r/w Section 3 (5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (for short ‘ BNS ’), 2023 is before this Court under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (for short ‘ BNS S’) 2023 seeking regular bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
3. First Information Report in Cr.No.5/2025 was registered by Dobbespet Police Station, Bengaluru, initially for offences punishable under Section 118 (1) r/w Section 3 (5) of BNS , 2023 against Vinod and two others, based on the first information dated 14.01.2025 received from Jaikumar, S/o Late Manikyam, who is the deceased in the present case.
4. During the course of investigation, first informant Jaikumar, who was admitted in the hospital had subsequently died on 22.01.2025, thereafter offence punishable under Section 103 (1) of BNS , 2023 was invoked in the present case.
