ORAL ORDER
Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for respondent No.1.
2. Sri H.L. Pradeep Kumar, learned counsel is directed to take notice for respondent Nos.2 and 3.
3. Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs:
“a) Issue a writ of Certiorari quashing the General Award dated 18.11.2023 at Annexure-F passed by the respondent No.3 in case No.PÉLJr©/KRIDE/¨sÀƸÁé/C2/R/4/2-5/LRPURA/06/
2023-24, in respect of the property bearing city survey No.1103, and in respect of the property of the petitioner bearing site No.192, situated at Lingarajapuram, 14th Cross, ‘B’ Block BDA Layout, Bengaluru-560084, b) Issue writ of Mandamus directing the respondent No.3 herein to pay the award to the petitioner within a week as per the General Award is produced at Annexure-F award dated 18.11.2023 ¥ÀæPÀgÀt ¸ÀASÉåB PÉLJr©/KRIDE/¨sÀƸÁé/C2/R/4/2-
5/LRPURA/06/2023-24.
c) And issue any other writ order or direction in the nature of writ of Mandamus under the facts and circumstance of the case, in the interest of justice and equity."
4. Learned counsel on both sides submit that the issue involved in this writ petition is squarely covered by several decisions of this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the absolute owners of the land bearing site No.192 in respect of Sy.No.1103, situated at Lingarajapuram, 14th Cross, B block BDA Layout, Janakiram Layout, near Banasawadi Railway station, Bengaluru. The said land has been acquired by the respondent-State for the benefit of respondent No.2. It is further submitted that the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) has passed a general award and being aggrieved, the petitioners have approached this Court.
6. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that the petitioners are willing to accept compensation by way of a consent award under Section 29(2) of the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Act, 1966 (‘KIAD Act, 1966’ for short).
7. Learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3-
KIADB submits that if the petitioners are willing to accept the compensation in terms of Section 29(2) of the KIAD Act, 1966, the same will be duly considered by the authority in accordance with law.
