ORAL ORDER

1. Sri.Karthik Rai and Ms.Nireeksha D.J., counsel accept notice for Respondent.

2. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs:

a. Appoint Hon'ble Shri. A.N. Venugopala Gowda, High Court Judge (Retired) or any other person that this Hon'ble Court may deem fit, as the Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes that have arisen between the parties out of the Educator Agreement dated 14.06.2022 (Annexure - A) as per clause 18 of the Educator Agreement dated 14.06.2022 therein.

b. Grant such other relief/s that this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the interest of justice and equity.

3. After arguing for sometime, Sri.Karthik Rai, counsel submits that any suitable person could be appointed as the arbitrator to arbitrate the dispute between the parties, keeping open all contentions open to be dealt by the Authority.

4. In that view of the matter, I pass the following:

ORDER

i) CMP is allowed ii) Sri.S.S.Sarangamath, a former Senior Civil Judge of the District Judiciary of the State of Karnataka is appointed as sole arbitrator to arbitrate the dispute between the parties under the aegis of the Arbitration Centre attached to this Court.

iii) Registry is directed to forward a copy of this order to the Director, Arbitration and Conciliation Centre for doing the needful.

iv) Since the order is passed in the presence of all the counsel, they shall appear before the Director, Arbitration and Conciliation Centre without requirement of any notice on

29.11.2025 at 2.30 p.m.

v) All contentions are left open.

vi) Registry is directed to return the original and/or certified copies, if produced, to the respective parties who have produced it/them by following due procedure.
