2. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that as against the impugned proceedings, appeal would lie under Section 49 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964.

3. In light of the same, it would be appropriate to relegate the petitioner to avail of the appellate remedy as is available in law.

4. Accordingly, the petition is disposed off. All contentions are kept open. The time spent before this court would be taken note of by the authorities in an appropriate manner when the appeal is filed before this court.
