ORAL ORDER

In this petition, petitioners seek the following reliefs:

“a. Issue an order, direction, or writ in the nature of mandamus directing the 1st Respondent to approve the admissions of Petitioners No. 1 to 3 without any discrimination.

b. Issue an order or direction or writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent No.1 to permit the students Petitioner to appear for Examination of

1^st Year GNM (Nursing) Course.

c. Grant such other relief that this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

2. After arguing the matter for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that since the respondent No.2-Board has not considered the representation/request made by the petitioners vide Annexure-D dated 21.01.2025, the respondent No.2 may be directed to consider the same and take appropriate decision/pass appropriate orders within a stipulated time frame.

3. Per contra, learned counsel for respondent No.2-Board submits that if reasonable time is granted, the respondent No.2-Board shall consider the said application filed by the petitioners at Annexure-D dated 21.01.2025 and take appropriate decision/pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law.

4. Before proceeding further, it would be necessary extract the aforesaid representation as under:

“REF: ENL/ADM/2024-25/01/2025 DATE: 21/01/2025 To The Secretary Karnataka State Diploma Nursing Examination Board Bangalore, Karnataka Respected Sir, Sub: Regarding the Online Portal Entry issue of Admission for 2024-25 of our Enlight School of Nursing With reference to the above subject, we hereby inform your good self that as per the Circular issued by Karnataka State Diploma Nursing Examination Board

20/01/2025 is the last date of online Portal Entry of students admitted for the academic year 2024-25. We have tried to edit the details entered in the portal as on 20/01/2025, but we could not able to upload the details of the below mentioned students. The same thing we have intimated to the Karnataka State Diploma Nursing Examination Board over phone and they insist us to wait but the problem is existed. So, we could not able to complete the process.

So, we hereby request allow us to enter the details of the below mentioned students details in the portal.
