ORAL ORDER

The review petitioner/Union of India has filed this review petition praying to review the order dated 23.04.2025 passed in MFA No.5453 of 2017 by this Court so far as awarding the interest at the rate of 8% p.a. on the compensation amount.

2. This Court on 23.04.2025 has allowed the appeal and granted total compensation of Rs.8,00,000/- along with rate of interest at the rate of 8% p.a. from the date of petition till the date of realization. Hence, the order so far as awarding compensation needs to be reviewed and accordingly, it is reviewed that the appellants are entitled Rs.8,00,000/- without interest, since the accident occurred on 28.11.2013.

3. The compensation amount shall be disbursed to the claimants with equal apportionment.

4. Accordingly, the review petition is disposed of SD/-
