ORAL ORDER

1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer.
A. To issue writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent No. 2 to consider the representation made by petitioner which is produced vide Annexure-F dated 1/8/2024.
B. To pass any other order, directions as deemed fit in the circumstances of the case.
2. The learned counsel appearing before the petitioner submits that the rate at which the license fee is demanded runs counter to the government circulars issued from time to time and therefore, submitted a representation seeking consideration or variation with the license fee in terms of the government circular dated 30.06.2022.
3. The learned counsel Sri. Prashant Homani submits that if reasonable time is granted, his representation will be considered in accordance with law.
4. In the light of the said submission, I deem it appropriate to dispose the subject petition with a direction to the respondent – Corporation to consider the representation of the petitioner in strict consonance with law bearing in mind the observations made in the course of this order, within an outer limit of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
