227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO DIRECTION TO THE RESPONDENTS TO CONSIDER THE REPRESENTATION OF THE PETITIONERS AT ANNX-B DATED 30.04.2025 AND B1 DTD 25.04.2025 AND TO ISSUE THE CORRECTED STATEMENT OF MARKS AND DEGREE CERTIFICATES OF THE PETITIONERS, ETC.

THIS WRIT PETITION, COMING ON FOR ORDERS, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER:

ORAL ORDER

In this petition, petitioners seek for the following reliefs:

"a. issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or order or direction to the Respondents to consider the representation of the Petitioners at Annexure B dated 30.04.2025 & B1 dated 25.04.2025 and to issue the corrected statement of marks and degree certificates of the Petitioners;

b. To grant such other relief/s as this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity."

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the respondent No.1/University and perused the material on record.

3. Respondent No.2, having been served with notice of this petition, has chosen to remain un-represented and has not contested the petition.

4. A perusal of the material on record will indicate that it is the grievance of the petitioners that the representations at Annexure B dated 30.04.2025 and Annexure B1 dated 25.04.2025 submitted by the petitioners to the respondents have not been considered and as such, the petitioners are before this Court, by way of the present petition.

5. Learned counsel for the respondent No.1/ University submits that if reasonable time is granted, the first respondent would consider and take necessary steps/action pursuant to the representations and proceed further, in accordance with law. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and the submission made by the learned counsel for respondent No.1, I deem it fit and appropriate to dispose of this petition, directing the respondents to address the grievances of the petitioners and take appropriate steps pursuant to the aforesaid representations submitted by the petitioners at Annexure B dated

30.04.2025 and Annexure B1 dated 25.04.2025, in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Subject to the aforesaid directions, the petition stands disposed of.
