ORAL ORDER

1. Issue notice.

2. The learned Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents.

3. The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:

1. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or direction, directing the respondent No. 2 to issue Challan for depositing fine/charges as per Rule 107 of Karnataka Land Revenue Rules, 1966 in response to the Applications dated 17/19-11-2025 and 02-12-2025 filed by the petitioner for seeking obtaining Deemed Conversion Order in respect of the land bearing Sy. No. 982/1 measuring 2 Acres situated at Sattigeri Village, Yaragatti Taluk, Belagavi District under Section 95(9) of Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 from agricultural to non-agricultural purpose i.e., for carrying on Quarrying Activities for extraction of Ordinary Building Stone in the ends of justice and equity. (Annexure-G & H) ii. Issue such other order or direction as deemed fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is essentially aggrieved as its request for deemed conversion of land measuring 2 acres, falling in Survey No.982/1, at Sattegeri Village, Yaragatti Taluk, Belagavi District, has not been considered as yet and thus, the petitioner is effectively prevented from carrying on quarrying activities for extraction of ordinary building stone.

5. Learned Government Advocate submits that petitioner's request would be considered and appropriate order would be passed within a period of twelve weeks from date.

6. In view of the aforesaid statement, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition.

7. The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations.

8. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
