THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 AND 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA, PRAYING TO DIRECT THE RESPONDENTS TO CONSIDER THE REPRESENTATION DATED 27TH DECEMBER, 2023 FILED BY THE PETITIONER VIDE ANNEXURE-G AND GRANT RENEWAL OF RECOGNITION TO THE PETITIONER SCHOOLS FOR A PERIOD OF 10 YEARS AS REQUIRED UNDER THE KARNATAKA EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS (REGISTRATION) RULES, 1999; AND ETC.

ORAL ORDER
1. This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner-Association dated 27th December 2023 (Annexure-G) for grant of renewal of Recognition to its Schools for a period of ten years as required under the Karnataka Educational Institutions (Registration) Rules, 1999.
2. Heard Sri. Dheeraj S.J., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Smt. Sukanya Baliga B., learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and on perusal of the writ papers, the same would indicate that the respondent-Authorities have granted recognition to the Schools of the petitioner-Association mentioned at Annexures 'F1' and 'F2' for a period of five years subject to compliance of certain requirements as per the provisions under the Karnataka Education Act read with relevant Rules. The Communication dated 23rd February, 2022 (Annexure-E) issued by the respondent No.1 stipulates that the recognition be granted up to ten years. Therefore, respondents 2 and 3 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner-Association dated 27th December, 2023 (Annexure-G) in accordance with law within an outer limit of four months from the date of receipt of this order. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of.
