ORAL ORDER

(PER: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIJAYKUMAR A. PATIL) This contempt petition is filed alleging the willful disobedience of the order of the learned Single Judge dated 19.09.2023 passed in WP.No.39002/2018. The operative portion of the order reads as under:

"With the above observation the petition is disposed of with liberty as stated above. The petitioner to make such representation/application in accordance with law to respondent No.2 within four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this Order.

The respondent-SLAO shall pass appropriate orders on said representation/application within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of said representation/application of the petitioner."

2. The respondents/accused have entered appearance and the SLAO has filed an affidavit. The affidavit indicates that the directions issued by the learned Single Judge have been considered. Along with the affidavit, an endorsement dated 11.07.2025 has also been produced. The said endorsement clearly indicates the reasons for rejecting the request of the complainant.

3. In view of the said endorsement, we are of the considered view that the order of the learned Single Judge has been complied with and that there is no willful disobedience of the said order. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings are dropped

4. It is open to the complainant to assail the said endorsement in accordance with law.
