Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for all the respondents.
2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the petitioner has also filed an online application on 07.04.2026 for conversion of the lands in question. Therefore, learned Counsel prays that the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the second respondent-Deputy Commissioner, Tumakuru District to consider the application and pass necessary orders within a time frame.
3. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of with a direction to the second respondent-Deputy Commissioner, Tumakuru District to consider the application filed by the petitioner on 07.04.2026 and dispose of the same in accordance with law in terms of the provisions contained in Section 95 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964, and having regard to the time frame fixed therein.
4. Learned Additional Government Advocate is permitted to file memo of appearance within a period of four weeks from today.
