THIS PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 & 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA, PRAYING TO DIRECT THE RESPONDENT NO.2 AUTHORITY TO CONSIDER THE APPLICATION/REPRESENTATION DATED 23.12.2025 AS PER ANNEXURE 'A' AND FURTHER DIRECTING THE SAID AUTHORITY TO PASS APPROPRIATE ORDER UNDER SECTION 290 OF GBA, ACT TO CUT THE BRANCHES OF THE TREE WHICH IS HANGING PRECARIOUSLY OVER THE HOUSE OF THE PETITIONER.

ORAL ORDER
1. The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:
"a) Issue writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent No.2 authority to consider the application/representation dated 23.12.2025 as per Annexure 'A' and further directing the said authority to pass appropriate order u/s. 290 of GBA, Act to cut the branches of the tree which is hanging precariously over the House of the Petitioner.
b) Pass such other direction or order as this Hon'ble court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity."
2. Learned counsel for respondent nos.1 to 5-Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), now Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) submits that, pursuant to filing of the writ petition, the branches in the tree has been trimmed and the request of the petitioner has been considered positively.
3. None appears to the petitioner.
4. Based on the submission of the learned counsel for GBA, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
