O R D E R
Dated this the 11th day of August 2020 The applicants are accused 2 to 6, 9 and 10 in Crime No.465/2020 of Erumapetty Police Station for having allegedly committed offences punishable under Sections 143 , 147, 148, 341, 323, 324 and 308 read with Section 149 of I.P.C.
2. The prosecution case, in brief, is that the applicants along with other co-accused, in furtherance of the common object to attack and cause injury to the defacto complainant, were members of an unlawful assembly, armed with deadly weapons committed riot and in the prosecution of the common object, the 1st accused sprinkled chilly powder on the father of the defacto complainant; while the 7th accused sprinkled chilly powder and sand on the eyes of the defacto complainant. The 8th accused also sprinkled such chilly powder on the eyes of the friend of the defacto complainant, and thereafter, the 2nd and 6th accused, armed with deadly weapons like sword, attacked the father of the defacto complainant, as also the defacto complainant and his friend.
