JUDGMENT
The petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the fact that without considering an application for one time settlement filed by the petitioner, the respondents are proceeding for recovery of amounts due under a loan availed by the petitioner.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent bank submits that earlier a one time settlement was infact offered to the petitioner and the petitioner failed to comply with the terms of the one time settlement. However, he submits that the one time settlement scheme now in force namely the ‘Navakeraleeyam Kudishika Nivarana Padhathi, 2025’ is applicable to the respondent bank and if the petitioner were to make an application, the said application of the petitioner can be considered in terms of the provisions contained in the said scheme.
3. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent bank and in the light of the submissions made as above, this Writ Petition will stand disposed of directing that if the petitioner were to make an application for the benefits of the ‘Navakeraleeyam Kudishika Nivarana Padhathi, 2025’ within a period of one week from today, the co
