JUDGMENT

Petitioner joined Assam Rifles on 10.7.2006 as a Rect/Tailor, is the submission. He reported before the ofÏce of the commandant Assam Rifles Training Centre and School at ‘Dimapur’ and after completing the medical examination he joined as a trainee is the further submission. Training of the petitioner started on 12.07.2006 at the ‘Dippu’ training centre, Assam. It is submitted by the petitioner that while running as part of training the petitioner fell down and his leg was injured. Thereafter, he was admitted in the hospital situated inside the training centre and was shifted to several hospitals including Army Hospitals Guvahatti and Nagaland. It is the case of the petitioner that due to lack of proper medical assistance, the petitioner could not recover from the injuries. According to the petitioner, due to the language problem, he could not communicate his ailments to the hospital authorities and the Army ofÏcials. Finally the petitioner was referred to Army Hospital, Kalkatta for further treatment. Even then the petitioner could not recover from the pain to his leg and muscles.
