JUDGMENT
This writ petition was filed challenging the termination of services of petitioner, who was working as a Junior Engineer in the 6th respondent Grama Panchayath under the M.G.N.R.E.G.Scheme. It is stated that petitioner's appointment was on contract basis and the last tenure was for one year from 31.03.2011. But on 29.06.2011, he was terminated from the services on the ground that his services were not satisfied.
2. The respondents have filed a counter affidavit explaining the circumstances under which the services were found not satisfactory. It is stated that even as per the agreement, it was provided that services could be terminated even before the expiry of the contractual period, if the services were found unsatisfactory.
3. The petitioner's services were terminated since the year 2011. It is seen that there was a direction not to appoint anybody in his place without further orders. At any rate, when the contract period itself is over petitioner cannot have any claim to continue subsequent to 30.03.2012, even going by the period of appointment as per the agreement.
In the light of the contentions raised in the counter affidavit which remain uncontroverted, I do not find
