JUDGMENT

Dated this the 08th day of July, 2022 The petitioner’s property was acquired by the National Highways Authority of India and compensation under Section 3G(1) of the National Highways Act, 1956, paid, as per Exts.P3 to P8. Being aggrieved by the quantum of compensation, the petitioner has preferred an application under Section 3(G)(5) of the National Highways Act. This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the delay in passing orders on the application.

2. It is submitted that in similar matters, the writ petitions were disposed of, fixing a time limit for passing orders on the application.

In such circumstances, the writ petition is also disposed of, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P9 application within eight months of receipt of a copy of this judgment, failing which the petitioner will be at liberty to move this Court again.
