Dated this the 24th day of November, 2021 The petitioner was a student of Ilahia Public school, Muvattupuzha. The petitioner passed 10th Standard examination in the year 2004 and was given Ext.P1 mark list and Ext.P2 pass certificate of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The petitioner passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination and was issued with Ext.P3 mark list and Ext.P4 pass certificate. In the school certificates, the date of birth of the petitioner was recorded as

30.05.1989.

2. For the purpose of employment abroad, the petitioner applied for Birth Certificate from Municipal authorities, who issued Ext.P5 Birth Certificate dated 11.02.2020. In Ext.P5, the date of birth of the petitioner was shown as 30.05.1988. Only then the petitioner came to know that the date of birth recorded in his CBSE certificates was not correct. The petitioner further noted that instead of the correct name of the petitioner’s mother “Rasheeda Jahan A.M.”, the CBSE certificates recorded mother’s name as “Rasheeda Jehan A.M.”

3. The petitioner therefore submitted Ext.P7 request to the 1st respondent-Principal to correct the date of birth and
