The petitioner is the 5th accused in S.T.No.3995/2017 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-IX, Kunnumpuram. The above case is filed against the petitioner and others alleging offences punishable under Rule 6(1), (2) Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodity) Rules [for short, ‘the P.C. Rules’] and Section 18(1) of Legal Metrology Act, 2009 [for short, ‘the L.M. Act’] punishable under Rule 32(2) of the P.C. Rules and Section 36(1) of the L.M Act and Sec.18(2) LM Act punishable under Rule 32(2) of PC Rules. Annexure-
A is the complaint filed against the petitioner and others.
2. The petitioner is arrayed as the 5th accused in the complaint wherein he is described as ‘ISL In-charge’ and address is shown as IMG Reliance having its office in 608, Western Express Highway Service Road, Bandra, Mumbai-400051. The petitioner was on secondment to Football Sports Development Limited, a company registered under the Companies Act, 1956 is the submission. According to the petitioner, his role was limited to assisting with operation of Indian Super League.
