JUDGMENT
The petitioner, who is the Executive Trustee of the educational agency, which runs health care institutions in the State, has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of certiorari to quash Ext.P9 communication dated 24.11.2020 issued by the 1st respondent Kerala University of Health Sciences, whereby the petitioner was informed that his application dated 04.11.2020 for enhancement of seats for B.Sc MLT course, cannot be considered for the academic year 2020-21. The petitioner has also sought for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to grant affiliation to the enhanced seats applied for, in B.Sc MLT course, in the petitioner's college, in the academic year 2020-21 itself; and also for a declaration that the petitioner is entitled to effect admissions to the enhanced seats in B.Sc MLT course, for which affiliation was sought for.
