J U D G M E N T

Dated this the 22nd day of August, 2022 The petitioners are before this Court challenging Exts.P2 to P4 and seeking to direct the respondents to rehabilitate the petitioners before the petitioners are evicted from their current residence.

2. The petitioners state that they are residing in a building situated in a Puramboke land. The petitioners constructed the house and started residing in the building. Later, the mother of the 1st petitioner joined them. The Government prepared a Scheme for rehabilitation of persons residing in the Puramboke land. A person named Shibu offered 3 Cents of land to the 1st petitioner's mother for constructing a house. The mother accordingly constructed a house availing financial benefits under Government Scheme. The mother shifted to the said house. Now, the respondents have issued Ext.P3 order directing the petitioners to vacate their house.

3. The Assistant Engineer, KSEB has issued Ext.P3 Order informing that since there is a requirement of widening of Pallikanal Road, the power supply connections would be cut.
