JUDGMENT

Dated this the 6th day of October 2020 This writ petition is filed by the petitioners seeking the following reliefs:

“i) ”to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing respondents to include the petitioners in Statutory Pension Scheme as per Part III KSR instead of National Pension System ii) to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing respondents to refund the Pension contribution deducted from the petitioners salary towards National Pension System by implementing Exts.P1 and P2 judgments;

iii) to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing respondents to pay interest accrued on Pension contribution deducted from the petitioners salary towards National Pension System.”

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader(Finance).

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners were appointed as Higher Secondary School Teachers (Junior) on several dates in March 2013. By Ext. P3 to P7 orders, the petitioners appointments were approved from the initial date of their appointments. H
