This Bail Application is filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita .

2. Petitioners are the accused in Crime No.558 of 22025 of Eravipuram Police Station, Kollam. The above case is registered against the petitioners alleging offences punishable under Sections 296 (b), 115(2), 118(1), 110, 351(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNS’).

3. The prosecution case is that on 10.03.2025 at about 8:45 p.m., the 1st accused hit the defacto complainant with his car and when the defacto complainant about to fell down, the 1st accused asked, why he hit him with the car, at that time the 1st accused abused him in filthy language, then the defacto complainant approached to the door of the driver seat and when the 1st accused attempted to open the door, the defacto complainant pushed the same for not opening. At that time the 2nd accused came in a scooter, twisted him from back side and when he fell down, the 2nd accused caused injuries to the defacto complainant over his nose and forehead and when the 2nd accused again attempted to attack him with the stone, he evaded the same. Hence it is alleged that the accused committed the offence.
