This Bail Application is filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita .
2. The petitioners are accused in Crime No.76/2025 on the files of the Tanur Police Station, Malappuram district. The offences alleged against the petitioner are under Sections 342, 376(2)(n) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act and Section 6 r/w Section 5 (1) and 17 of the POCSO Act, 2012 .
3. The prosecution case is that the 1st petitioner committed rape on the minor girl and other accused abetted the 1st petitioner and thereby the the accused committed the above offences.
4. Heard counsel for the petitioners and the Public Prosecutor.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the allegations against the petitioners are false. It is submitted that the engagement between the 1st petitioner and the defacto complainant is over and subsequently, she filed the above complaint. It is submitted that the petitioners are ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court.
6. The learned Public Prosecutor opposed the bail application.
