JUDGMENT

Petitioner herein is the licensee of .22 rifle and owner of an Antique Rifle manufactured in Britain. Petitioner has submitted application seeking renewal of the license, which even according to the petitioner was deposited in the Thrissur Armoury in the year 2000. According to the petitioner, even though applications were filed for renewal of the license and notices were issued by the statutory authorities, since the petitioner was not available in India, petitioner could not participate in the hearing proceeding. Any how, order was passed evident from Ext.P2 adverse to the petitioner declining renewal of the license, which was taken in appeal and the Land Revenue Commissioner, the appellate authority as per Ext.P4 dated 17.12.2014 set aside the order of the primary authority and remanded the matter back for reconsideration. After remand, Ext.P6 order is passed dated 24.11.2016, which is impugned in this writ petition. Therefore seeking to quash Ext.P6 and for other related reliefs, this writ petition is filed.
