THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING BEEN FINALLY HEARD ON 22.08.2024, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:

J U D G M E N T

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection alleging that the 3^rd respondent is threatening him and is attempting to cause physical harm.

2. The learned Government Pleader on instructions submits that, based on the 3^rd respondent’s complaint that the petitioner had defrauded of 2.5 lakhs, by promising to secure a Visa to Israel, the parties were summoned to the Police Station and the petitioner submitted that out of the 2.5 lakhs, 1 lakh was repaid and he will pay the balance Rs.1,50,000/- lakhs also.

3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that his client is not liable to repay any amount and even otherwise, the 3^rd respondent cannot threaten the petitioner with police aid.

4. In view of the above submissions, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the police not to intervene in the dispute, unless law and order issues are reported. The 3^rd respondent can resort to legal methods for recovery of the money, if any, due to him.
