JUDGMENT

The above writ petition is filed with following prayers :

(i) “Issue a writ of mandamus, or any other appropriate writ or order or direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders in the appeal filed by the petitioner in respect of his Arms License bearing No. 305/CHD within a period of one week.

(ii) Grant any other appropriate remedy deemed fit by this Hon'ble Court in the interest of justice” [SIC]

2. The main grievance of the petitioner is that the appeal filed by the petitioner against Ext.P3 order is not considered by the 1^st respondent.

3. Today, the learned Government Pleader after getting instructions submitted that the 1^st respondent already considered the appeal and rejected the same. If that is the case, the petitioner has to challenge that order in accordance with law.

Granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the same, this writ petition is closed. The 1^st respondent will communicate the order to the petitioner forthwith.
