ORDER

Dated this the 26th day of March, 2024 The application is filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, by the 6th accused in Crime No. 234 of 2024 of the Chathannur Police Station, Kollam, registered against the accused (12 in number) for allegedly committing the offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 341, 323, 324 and 307 read with Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code.

2. The essence of the prosecution case is that: on 26.02.2024, at around 18:50 hours, the accused, in prosecution of their common intention, restrained the 1st informant and assaulted him.

Thereafter, the 1st accused stabbed the 1st informant multiple times with a knife and he has suffered serious injuries. Thus, the accused have committed the above offences.

3. Heard Sri. R. Kishore, learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt. Seetha S., learned Public Prosecutor.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is totally innocent of the accusation levelled against him.
