The applications are filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (in short, ' BNSS '), by the accused Nos. 1 to 4 in the below mentioned crimes for allegedly committing the offences punishable under Sections 406 , 409, and 420 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (in short, ' IPC ') and Section 4 r/w Section 22 of the Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act , 2019. The petitioners were originally arrested in Crime No. 644/2024 of the Thiruvalla Police Station on 07.05.2024. Subsequently, the petitioners’ arrests were recorded from 02.07.2024 to 12.08.2024 in the following cases: B.A.No.7538/2024 filed in Crime No.556/2024, B.A.No.7539/2024 filed in Crime No.571/2024 and B.A.No.7541/2024 filed in Crime No.580/2024, B.A.No.7542/2024 filed in Crime No.581/2024, B.A.No.7546/2024 filed in Crime No.663/2024, B.A.No.7547/2024 filed in Crime No.683/2024, B.A.No.7548/2024 filed in Crime No.685/2024, B.A.No.7601/2024 filed in Crime No.521/2024, B.A.No.7604/2024 filed in Crime No.528/2024, all registered by the Harippad Police Station, Alappuzha; B.A.No.7558/2024 filed in Crime No.582/2024, registered by the Medical College Police Station
