JUDGMENT
1. The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs;
1. To issue a writ in the nature of certiorari or such other writ, order or direction to quash Ext.P.6 and Ext.P.8 communications issued by 2nd respondent rejecting Ext.P.3 and Ext.P.7 applications submitted by petitioner before the
2nd respondent.
2. To issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or such other writ, order or direction directing the 2nd respondent to effect correction in date of birth, father’s name and address of the petitioner in the petitioner’s passport in accordance with Ext P.4 sworn affidavit and Ext.P.5. School Certificate issued by ALP School Kuttippuram.
3. To issue such other writs or pass such other orders as this Hon’ble court deems fit in the interests of justice.
4. To dispense with filing of vernacular document.
2. The petitioner is holder of Indian passport bearing No. H4336635. He has moved an application in Exhibit P-7 to change his date of birth and father’s name.
3. Ms. Bea Mary, the learned Counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner’s application for correcting the date of birth and other particulars was taken up for consideration as per the instructions issued by
