The applications are filed under Section 4 83 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (in short, ' BNSS '), by the accused Nos. 1 to 4 in the below mentioned crimes for allegedly committing the offences punishable under Sections 406 , 409, and 420 read with Section 3 4 of the Indian Penal Code (in short, ' IPC ') and r/w , 5, 21 & 23 of the Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act , 2019. The petitioners were originally arrested in Crime No. 644/2024 of the Thiruvalla Police Station on 07.05.2024. Subsequently, the petitioners’ arrests were recorded from 04.10.2024 to 10.10.2024 in the following cases: B.A.No.8449/2024 filed in Crime No.630/2024, B.A.No.8435/2024 filed in Crime No.801/2024, B.A.No.8436/2024 filed in Crime No.798/2024 and B.A.No.8437/2024 filed in Crime No.756/2024 all registered by the Alappuzha South Police Station, Alappuzha; B.A.No.8532/2024 filed in Crime No.250/2024, B.A.No.8531/2024 filed in Crime No.363/2024 and B.A.No.8529/2024 filed in Crime No.356/2024 all registered by the Edathua Police Station, Alappuzha; B.A.No.8474/2024 filed in Crime No.262/2024 and B.A.No.8472/2024 filed in Crime No.344/2024 both registered by the Neyya
