Dated this the 16^th day of February, 2024 ORDER Petitioner seeks for an expeditious disposal of C.C.No.39/2023 pending on the files of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Chottanikkara; in a time bound manner.

2. When the matter came up for consideration, this Court called for a report from the learned Magistrate. By communication dated 14.02.2024, it has been informed that though the accused was granted bail, since the bail bonds have not been executed, he continues in judicial custody. It is also informed that two more witnesses have to be examined and summons has already been issued to CW5 and a further period of two months time is requested for, to complete the trial of the case.

3. Having regard to the report of the learned, I am of the view that this Crl.M.C. can be disposed of with a direction.

4. Accordingly, there will be a direction to the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Chottanikkara, to dispose of C.C.No.39/2023 as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. The Crl.M.C. is disposed of.
