Dated this the 16th day of October,2024 The application is filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023, for an order of pre-arrest bail.
2. The petitioners are the accused Nos.1 and 2 in Crime No. 944/2024 of the Palarivattom Police Station, Ernakulam, which is registered against three accused persons for allegedly committing the offences punishable under Sections 308 , 335, 340, 318 and 61(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita .
3. The crux of the prosecution case is that: the accused Nos.1 to 3, the employees of V-Guard Industries Ltd., had between 2021 and 2022, and with an intention to cheat the defacto complainant, had made false invoices between the period from 11.08.2023 to 28.09.2023 and presented the cheques that were issued by the defacto complainant, got it dishonoured, and cheated the defacto complainant. Thus, the accused have committed the above offences.
