JUDGMENT
1. The present writ petition has been filed impugning Exhibit P-5 order passed by the Maintenance Tribunal and Revenue Divisional OfÏcer dated 25.11.2022 on complaint/application of the mother of the petitioner, the 3rd respondent.
2. The mother of the petitioner filed complaint before the Tribunal on 06.05.2022 under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Act’ for short) stating that, she is having three children; one son and two daughters. Till April, 2022 she was residing with her son, the petitioner. The petitioner with the assurance that he will look after her, managed to execute settlement deed from the 3rd respondent vide 1351/2021 and 1352/2022 of Sub Registrar OfÏce, Vadakkancherry on
02.07.2021.
3. Thereafter for some months, she resided with the petitioner in the house given to his wife by the mother vide a registered deed. Later on, the petitioner and his wife started abusing her using filthy language and told her to get out of the house. The allegation is that, she was not provided with food.
