This is an application for anticipatory bail under Section

438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure , filed by the sole accused in Crime No.1489 of 2023 of West Police Station, Thrissur, registered under Section 376(2)(n) of IPC.

2. The prosecution allegation is that on 04.04.2023 and on 28.04.2023, the petitioner, on false promise of marriage, forcibly committed rape on the defacto complainant, at her flat at Pookunnam.
