Dated this the 4th day of January, 2023 This Crl.M.C. has been preferred to quash Annexure-A2 Final Report in C.C.No.489 of 2020 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-I, Pala, Kottayam on the ground of settlement between the parties.

2. The petitioners are the accused Nos. 1 to 7. The 3rd respondent is the de facto complainant and the 4th respondent is the injured.

3. The offences alleged against the petitioners are punishable under Sections 143 , 144, 146, 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 r/w 149 of Indian Penal Code .

4. The respondents 3 and 4 entered appearance through counsel. Affidavits sworn in by them are also produced.

5. I have heard Sri.Jithin Bose, the learned counsel for the petitioners, Smt.K.R.Monisha, the learned counsel for the respondent Nos.3 and 4 and Sri.P.G.Manu, the learned Senior Public Prosecutor.

6. The averments in the petition as well as the affidavits sworn in by the 3rd and 4th respondents would show that the entire dispute between the parties has been amicably settled and the de facto complainant has decided not to proceed with the criminal proceedings further.
