These appeals are filed by the defendant against the common judgment in O.S.Nos.326/2013 and 293/2014 on the files of the Ist Additional Sub Court, Ernakulam.

2. The suits are filed for realization of amount. The amount claimed in O.S.No.326 of 2013 was Rs.28,05,240/- with 12% interest, which includes arrears of rent from 01.09.2012 to 01.04.2013 amounting to Rs.19,68,750/-, interest on the arrears of rent from 01.09.2012 to 01.04.2013 amounting to Rs.93,150/-, service tax from 01.09.2012 to 01.04.2013 totaling to Rs.2,43,340/- and the share of contribution towards purchase of HT connection amounting to Rs.5,00,000/-. In O.S.No.293/2014 amount claimed was Rs.44,79,568/- with 12% interest, which includes the arrears of rent for the period from 01.05.2013 to 27.10.2014 totalling to an amount of Rs.46,57,500/-, interest on arrears of rent for the period from 01.05.2013 to 27.10.2014 @ 12% amounting to Rs.4,42,463/-, arrears of service taxes @ 12.36% on the rent for the period from 01.05.2013 to 27.10.2014 which comes to Rs.5,75,667/-, electricity charges for the month of August to October, 2014 amounting to Rs.1,94,129/-, and an amount of Rs.9,80
