The Kerala Public Service Commission issued a notification to the post of LDC (Kannada & Malayalam knowing) in Kasargod District by notification dated 30.12.2016. The short list was published originally on 21.12.2021, which was challenged by certain candidates on the ground that the PSC fixed the criteria after conducting the examination. The challenge was sustained by the Kerala Administrative Tribunal in O.A.(EKM) No.86/2022. Challenging the order in O.A.(EKM) No.86/2022 PSC has filed O.P.(KAT) No.8/2023 before this Court. Interim stay was granted by this Court on 11.01.2023. The same order was also challenged in O.P.(KAT) No.433/2022 by some of the candidates included in the short list.

2. Pending challenge in the judgment of O.P.(EKM)

No.86/2022, the PSC cancelled the short list for the reason that there was a mistake in tabulation of marks. Thereafter, fresh short list was published on 09.05.2023 which is under challenge in O.A.(EKM) No.762/2023 before the Kerala Administrative Tribunal. Interim stay was granted as against the short list dated 26.05.2023, which is also challenged by some of the candidates in O.P.(KAT)
