JUDGMENT
Two Officers in the Office of the Registrar of Co-operative Societies, four Officers in the Co-operative Department, and three Officers in the Law Department had undertaken the task of collating and compiling all the amendments that have been carried out to the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969 . Recognizing the work of compiling the Act after incorporating the amendments brought in to the Statute to enable the Government to publish the same, the Government, after assessing the efforts put in and the importance of the work carried out, decided to award Good Service Entry to those officers involved.
2. The petitioner, who is a retired employee of the Co-operative Department, has approached this Court contending that the award of the Good Service Entry to the officers is uncalled for as they are undeserving candidates. He asserts that the procedure which is required to be followed has not been followed by the respondents. In the said circumstances, he submitted an application before the 1st respondent seeking to revoke the good service entries, which stands rejected by Ext.P7 order. The said order is under challenge.
