Application for regular bail.
2. Petitioner is the 8th accused in Crime No.490 of 2022 of Valappad Police Station, Thrissur District alleging commission of offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 450, 341, 323, 324, 307, 302, 201 and 212 r/w Section 149 of the IPC. 3. The prosecution case is that, due to enmity in connection with termination of accused Nos.1 and 2 from the bar hotel named Central Residency, the petitioner along with seven other accused persons formed themselves into an unlawful assembly on 12.7.2022 at 9.20 pm, trespassed into the Central Residency, voluntarily caused hurt to defacto complainant, who is the owner of the Residency and 3rd accused wrongfully restrained one Baiju with an intention to kill him, stabbed him with A knife, 5th accused chopped him with a knife and when another person named Ananthu tried to prevent him, the 5th accused caused grievous hurt to him also by stabbing with a knife, said Baiju died as a result of the injury sustained in the incident. The 9th accused harbored the other accused persons after committing the offence.
