ORDER
This is an application for regular bail.
2. Petitioner is the 1st accused in Crime No.693 of 2022 of Balaramapuram Police Station registered alleging commission of offences punishable under Sections 294 (b), 323 and 302 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code .
3. The prosecution allegation is that the defacto complainant along with one Vishnu on 10.07.2022 at about 9.15 p.m. went towards Balaramapuram junction in a scooter to purchase food. While returning at about 10.00 p.m. when they reached a place near a cement godown another bike was coming in the opposite direction. There ensued a road range between riders of both bikes. Consequently, the rider of the other bike stabbed Vishnu with a sharp object and later Vishnu succumbed to the injury. The allegation is that the petitioner herein was the rider of the other bike who inflicted stab injury with a sharp object on Vishnu.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.
