ORDER
This is an application for regular bail.
2. Petitioner is the accused in the Crime No.391 of 2022 of Palarivattom Police Station registered alleging commission of offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The crux of the allegation raised in the case against the petitioner is that on 15.04.2022 at about 12.30 p.m. at Palarivattom YMJ Stadium Link Road the petitioner/accused had snatched 1.5 sovereign of gold chain worth Rs.60,000/- worn by the defacto complainant and thereby the petitioner committed the offence punishable under Section 392 IPC. Petitioner herein was arrested in connection with the crime on
19.04.2022 and is remaining in custody since then.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.
5. The learned Public Prosecutor upon instruction submitted that the charge is already laid and that he has no previous antecedents
