ORDER

This is an application for regular bail.

2. The petitioner is the accused in Crime No.185 of 2021 of Manjeswar Police Station, Kasargode District, alleging commission of offences under Sections 143, 147, 148, 120(b), 364A, 385, 323, 342 and 506 read with Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation against the petitioner is that he along with the other accused in the case kidnapped two individuals owing to some financial dispute and thereby committed the offences alleged against them.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the wife of one of the persons, who was allegedly kidnapped filed a complaint before the Ullal Police Station of Dakshin Kannada District of Karnataka State and Crime No.103 of 2021 was registered by the Ullal Police against the petitioner and the other accused in the case. It is submitted with reference to Annexure - 4 order of the VI Additional District & Sessions Judge, Mangalapuram that all the accused in the case before the Ullal Police were granted bail after spending about 30 days in custody.
