ORDER
Dated this the 8th day of July, 2022 The petitioners are accused Nos.1 to 6 in crime No.60/2019 of Mannuthy Police Station, which is now pending as C.C. No.279/2019 before the Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court-III, Thrissur. The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Sections 143 , 341, 323, 294(b), 506(i), 447, 427 read with Section
149 of the Indian Penal Code .
2. The prosecution case is that on 28.01.2019, the accused persons formed themselves into an unlawful assembly threatened the 2nd and 3rd respondents and assaulted them. Annexure-1 is the final report submitted by the Police. This Crl.M.C. is filed for quashing all further proceedings pursuant to Annexure-1 final report.
3. Heard Sri. V.A. Johnson (Varikkappallil), the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, Sri. C.S. Hritwik, the learned Senior Public Prosecutor for the State and Sri. Unni Sebastian Kappen, the learned counsel appearing for the 2nd and
3rd respondents.
4. The prayer for quashing the proceedings is sought mainly on the ground that the dispute between the parties has been settled. Annexures 2 and 3 affidavits sworn by the 2nd and 3rd respondents are filed along with this Crl.M.C.
