J U D G M E N T

The Petitioners in W.P.(C)No.19709/2022 had obtained an ordinary loan from the 1st respondent Urban Bank, the loan was availed in the year 2020 and the repayment tenure is for 10 years, that is till 2030. The petitioners have committed default in repayment of the liability and as on date the overdue amount in respect of that loan (ordinary loan No.312) is Rs.2,34,924/-(Rupees Two Lakhs Thirty Four Thousand Nine Hundred and Twenty Four Only). The very same petitioners had availed another loan, namely ordinary loan No.313, from the respondent Urban Bank and the tenure of that loan is also practically the same. They have committed default in repayment of the amounts payable in terms of the agreement with the Bank in respect of that loan as well and the proceedings initiated by the Bank have been challenged by the 1st petitioner by filing W.P(C)No.21367/2022. The overdue amount in respect of the loan which is subject matter of W.P.(C)No.21367/2022 is stated to be Rs.15,02,394/-(Fifteen Lakhs Two Thousand Three Hundred and Ninety Four Only).
